This song is poem about a dark queen and the subsequent revolt against her by those cast under the shadow of her tyranny and malevolence. She symbolizes a mother of demons, corruption, and decadence, and the power of ego which must be overcome and subjugated to the will.

The face of purity haloed by kindness

Hope is shackled

Now torn, blasted, and harnessed for one's own greed
A tainted prophecy, sullen defeat of the damned
